Empty Homes Working Group – Session Five

This will be the fifth session of the Empty Homes Working Group named ‘Safe and Decent Homes’.

This session will look at how we can use the void period more effectively and we will be hearing from:

• Sarah Davis from the Chartered Institute of Housing will lead the group through the proposed social housing allocations policy
• Tony Cubitt from Vericon Systems who will be discussing the role of environmental sensors
• Darren Ypey from TSM Void Energy Service who are explaining how their services can save landlords time with energy-related issues during the void period
• A 20-minute break-out session chaired by Richard Mardle from Wates Group on how best to approach the void period
