EIP hosts Q&A on disrepair with Housing Ombudsman
EIP hosted an online Q&A session on condensation, mould and damp disrepair issues, with the Housing Ombudsman, Richard Blakeway on 26th January 2023.
The event, for housing professionals, was also attended by Head of Insight and Development at the Housing Ombudsman, Rebecca Reed.
There were some really interesting questions asked and a key takeaway was the importance of having a robust complaints policy and signposting residents to this.
We will continue the discussion around collaborative solutions in our Disrepair Improvement Groups , which meet on a monthly basis and EIP is working with the Housing Ombudsman to set up another online Q&A to take place later this year.
